What food items can be brought into the facility? 

You may bring cake, cupcakes, prepackaged dry snacks, candy, vegetable trays, and fruit trays to your party. WE ARE SORRY NO OUT SIDE FOOD PERMITTED IN OUR FACILITY.

    A Private Painting Party requires a minimum of 15 painters.  If a Party has fewer than the minimum number of painters, you (“you” or the “party host” or the “host”) will be charged $25 for each painter that would be required to bring the minimum number to 15.

          On the day of your event, you will pay us (the “Studio” or “CMMB” or “us” or “we” as the context requires) for the party bisque (pottery) selections, plus a 15% gratuity on the total price of the bisque and the party fee.  Amounts paid are also taxable as required by law.  The gratuity (also called a service fee) will be distributed to our Studio Technicians in full.  If you want to recognize particularly good service with a more generous gratuity, rest assured that it will all go to our Studio Technicians.  

          Party fees are nonrefundable.  If you must cancel your Private Painting Party, we would be happy to reschedule it, or we will apply your party fee as a Studio credit for the Burbank studio only, except that if you give fewer than 48 hours’ notice of a reschedule or cancellation, then you will pay or we will retain 20% of the party fee as a cancellation fee, and if you fail to reschedule or cancel a party at all (i.e., a “no-show”) then you will pay or we will retain the entire party fee as a cancellation fee.  

          You as the party host may arrive up to 30 minutes before the start of your scheduled party, and we will assist you in setting up any cake, other food, beverages, paper products or decorations you bring to personalize your party, other than alcoholic beverages, which you may bring and consume but, by law, our Studio Technicians or other employees may not carry, set out, prepare, or serve to you or your guests.

          Bisque pieces shown in our Studio or on our website are representative of the bisque pieces provided for your party.  If you request particular bisque pieces far enough in advance that we may obtain them from our major vendors on our customary ordering schedule, we will attempt to accommodate your request.  We will consult with you before we incur any additional rush or shipping charges that would be chargeable to you.  We cannot assure you that particular bisque pieces will be available on reasonable terms in time for your party or at all.  You may be required to select particular bisque pieces from our then current inventory.

          You and your guests must vacate the Studio at the scheduled end of your party so that we may open the Studio, other than in the event of a party scheduled from 6:30-8:30 pm, in which event, if there is no party scheduled after yours, you may arrange to extend your party time with our consent in increments of one half-hour at the price of $100 per half-hour.

          All finished pieces will be available for pickup by the host (and not by individual guests) 7 days after the party, unless you are otherwise advised.  We are happy to hold your finished pieces for 14 days.  After that time, unclaimed items may be donated, and neither you nor your guests will be entitled to any refund, adjustment or compensation in such event.

 

          We accept MasterCard, Visa or American Express or, for the balance due at the time of the party, cash.  Personal checks are notaccepted.
